A platform that helps a family across generations needs to work for everyone in that family — including older parents, members with low vision, and members using assistive tech. We commit to building toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the Platform.
What we do today
- Keyboard navigation across all major flows (signup, dashboard, imports, calculators).
- Visible focus states; no focus traps.
- Semantic HTML — headings, landmarks, lists, tables — so screen readers can navigate.
- Form fields with associated labels and inline error messages.
- Colour contrast targets ≥ 4.5:1 for normal text and ≥ 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Text resize-to-200% without horizontal scrolling on the dashboard.
- No use of flashing or strobing content.
Known gaps
- Some legacy charts on the dashboard need an accessible data-table fallback. Tracking issue, planned for next release.
- The marketplace listing page does not yet announce filter changes via ARIA-live.
- We do not yet have a fully audited screen-reader pass on the Tax Return wizard during the filing window.
We are open about gaps; if you find more, please let us know.
Report an issue
Email [email protected]
with subject line starting [Accessibility]. Include the page URL,
a short description, and the assistive technology you are using if any. We
acknowledge within one business day and aim to resolve within 30 days, faster
when the fix is small.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, escalate via Grievance Redressal. Accessibility issues are tracked on the same SLA as other grievances.
Standard
We target WCAG 2.1 AA. We track WCAG 2.2 AA and the Indian Government's accessibility guidelines (GIGW 3.0 / IS 17802) and will update this page when our scope expands.
